Ingredients: The Essence of Alchemy by Jill Parker
May 30-31, 2020- 6 hours (times tba)
Ingredients: Heaping portions of Jill Parkers signature vocabulary including technical breakdowns as well as liquid flow drills to stimulate muscle memory and smooth transitions.
Mix the technique with embodiment through conceptual exercises.
Add to taste: Your own creative voice
Included: A mini version of the Alchemy workbook provided at Jill’s week-long program; dancer development surrounding mindset, goal setting and historical context of tribal fusion.
In this intensive, Jill will distill the elements of her week-long program so that dancers can get a taste of Alchemy. Expect Jill’s signature vocabulary, movement phrases, and organic teaching style, as well as a peak into the topics and theories mentioned above and included in the longer program: Alchemy: The Science, Craft, and Sorcery of Belly Dance.
